Who handles your data

No Data Protection Officer (DPO) has been appointed, as it is not mandatory for this activity.

What data we process, why and on what basis

• Browsing. The site is hosted by Vercel and, like any web server, logs technical data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser) to keep it secure and working. Legal basis: legitimate interest in the security and proper functioning of the site (art. 6.1.f GDPR). The site uses no analytics or profiling tools.
• E-books (Christmas and free). If you fill in the form we process your name and email to send you the e-book and Simone Adami’s emails. Data is managed through Kit (formerly ConvertKit). Legal basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a), which you give by ticking the box before submitting.
• Contact and bookings. If you write on WhatsApp or by email, call, or book through the calendar, we process the data you give us (name, contact details, message content, chosen date and time) to reply and organise the consultation. Legal basis: your request and pre-contractual measures or performance of the contract (art. 6.1.b).
• Legal obligations. If the consultation is paid, the data needed for invoicing is processed to meet tax and accounting obligations (art. 6.1.c).
• Health data. This site does not collect it. If you choose to share it (for example via WhatsApp, email or on a video call) we use it only for the consultation you requested and only with your explicit consent (art. 9.2.a).

Providing data is optional, but without the data requested we cannot send you the e-book, reply to you or schedule the consultation.

Cookies and similar tools

This site sets no cookies and stores no other data on your device (no profiling, advertising or analytics cookies, no pixels, no local storage). For this reason it shows no consent banner, in line with art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the Italian data protection authority’s cookie guidelines of 10 June 2021. Fonts are hosted on the site itself, with no requests to Google Fonts.

The booking calendar is a Google service and is loaded only if you press “Load the calendar”: that choice of yours, after the notice, is your consent. Only from then on can Google set its own cookies, under its own policy. Links to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and Google (listing and reviews) also lead to external sites with their own rules.

Who we share data with

• Vercel — website hosting.
• Kit (ConvertKit) — e-book forms and email delivery.
• Google — booking calendar, only on your request.
• Meta (WhatsApp) — messaging, if you choose to write on WhatsApp.

These providers process data only for the purposes above, under their data processing agreements or, for messaging, as independent controllers. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising.

Transfers outside the European Union

The providers listed are based in the United States. They state that they rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (European Commission adequacy decision of 10 July 2023) and/or on the Commission’s standard contractual clauses for transfers from the EU. You can ask us for a copy of the safeguards applied by writing to simone.adami@live.com.

How long we keep your data

• E-book forms: until you withdraw consent or unsubscribe (every email contains the link to do so).
• Messages and contact requests: for as long as needed to reply; if a consultation follows, for its duration and for legal obligations.
• Tax and accounting documents: 10 years, as required by law.
• Technical site logs: for the period set by Vercel.

Your rights

You can ask for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability, and object to processing (arts. 15–22 GDPR). You can withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing already carried out. Write to simone.adami@live.com: we reply within one month.

If you believe the processing breaches the rules, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian data protection authority, the Garante (www.garanteprivacy.it).

Automated decisions and minors

We do no profiling and make no decisions based solely on automated processing.

The services are aimed at people aged 14 or over: for children under 14, consent must be given by the person holding parental responsibility.

Security and changes

The site is served over HTTPS only and form data travels encrypted. This policy may be updated: the date above shows the latest version.
